SMALL BUSINESS RECEIVES FIRST-RATE SERVICE AND SAVES MONEY
WITH REMANUFACTURED TELECOM GEAR FROM BLACK BOX RESALE SERVICES
Until recently, the last thing on small business owner Linda Petrie’s mind was purchasing a new phone
system. But, as a result of a power surge, that’s just what she ended up having to do.
The power surge caused instant burnout of the phone system at her company, LA Advertising and
Design, Inc., in Wauwatosa, Wis., a suburb of Milwaukee. Petrie says the destroyed system was several
years old and probably obsolete, but still worked. She needed to find a replacement that was cost-effective,
that would serve the needs of the business now and in the future and could be installed immediately.
The agency was without phones for four days while Petrie contacted phone providers in her area to get estimates
for a new system. During a conversation with her sister, Petrie was referred to Black Box Resale Services, based in Minneapolis,

repaired, repainted and recalibrated by a professional technician – with the final product carrying a better warranty than
if it were purchased new. After a final test, phones are repackaged with a new literature pack, coil cord, base cord and handset.
After receiving equipment that looked and worked like new, it was back to business at LA Advertising. The agency had working
phones shortly after contacting Black Box Resale Services.
