Nortel Communication Server 1000 Release 5.0 software represents Nortel’s ongoing commitment to the continued enhancements of its converged IP based network. In addition, Release 5.0 also offers an evolution path to traditional TDM users interested in migrating to an IP network. This commitment encompasses support and added value to our traditional enterprise customers, while demonstrating a new and exciting vision of the converged network. Release 5.0 builds on the strength of Communication Server 1000 Release 4.5 by introducing significant improvements in capacity, resilience, reliability, simplicity, security and openness of the Nortel Enterprise voice solution.
